Biography
Kunio Takeyasu has completed his PhD at the age of 30 years from Hiroshima University and postdoctoral studies from Cornell University and the Johns Hopkins University. He served as a faculty member (Assistant Professor at University of Virginia, Associate Professor at the Ohio State University and Professor at Kyoto University), as an editorial board member of JJAP (Japanese Journal of Applied Physics) and as a director of JSPS (Japan Society of Promotion of Science) London Office. He has published more than 250 papers in reputed journals and books.
Research Interest
His research area is nano-biology, which covers biochemistry and molecular and cell biology using atomic force microscopy.
